First of all, newcomers lunch is scheduled for December 5th at 1pm. 00:18:52.000 |
This is for people who are kind of in the process of checking out the church and you have some questions. 00:18:56.000 |
We have a lot of people who are welcome team members and some of the leaders in the church. 00:19:03.000 |
And so it's happening at 1pm in the sanctuary here. 00:19:08.000 |
And so if you want to sign up for that, if you know somebody that would benefit from that, 00:19:12.000 |
that's happening again on December 5th at 1pm. 00:19:16.000 |
And so you can just tell the welcome team and let them know that you're interested and they'll give you more specifics on that. 00:19:22.000 |
And then the next thing is we have a Christmas gathering sign up. 00:19:26.000 |
Instead of having a large gathering this year, we're going to be breaking up into homes. 00:19:29.000 |
So those of you who volunteered, obviously people are going to be scheduled to be at your home. 00:19:34.000 |
And those of you who haven't signed up, if you're part of the family ministry, we ask you to sign up 00:19:38.000 |
and then you'll be assigned a certain home probably depending on where you live. 00:19:45.000 |
So our brother Dean Shin is the one who is overseeing this. 00:19:49.000 |
His email is on the church announcement and I think our app. 00:19:55.000 |
So if you go there, you'll be able to sign up for that. 00:20:02.000 |
Again, if you are new to our church, our offering basket is in the back, the physical. 00:20:08.000 |
So if you have a physical offering, there are envelopes there if you want to put it in there. 00:20:12.000 |
So it says offering basket. It looks like a little birdhouse. 00:20:15.000 |
So that's where the physical offering is going to go. 00:20:17.000 |
And for the rest of us, we'll give you a minute to give the electronic offering after. 00:20:24.000 |
Gracious Father, we thank you so much for who you are. 00:20:29.000 |
And we thank you, Father, for being patient with us, for enduring with us, 00:20:34.000 |
for indwelling us, Lord God, with the Holy Spirit. 00:20:39.000 |
Help us to lift our eyes to know that our hope, our refuge is in you. 00:20:46.000 |
I pray that our worship that we give you would truly be in spirit and in truth. 00:20:50.000 |
And even the offering that we give now, help us, Lord God, to give it to you as an act of worship, 00:20:56.000 |
joyfully, generously, Lord God, in our heart. 00:20:59.000 |

and that our praise, Lord, would manifest, Lord God, 01:22:39.000 |
in our singing, our giving, our service, and our love. 01:22:43.000 |
Help us, Lord God, to live this week as a witness to the world, 01:22:49.000 |
and as the days are turning more and more darker, 01:22:52.000 |
and there's more and more despair in this world, 01:22:55.000 |
help us, Lord God, to be people who are thankful, 01:22:58.000 |
who genuinely worship, that they may see the light in the church 01:23:05.000 |
May Christ be exalted this Thanksgiving season.
