I confess that the Bible is the inerrant word of God 01:10:28.480 |

Number two, one, to be a member of the church, 01:10:39.480 |
you need to be a genuine born again Christian. 01:11:18.480 |
we believe in the infallibility of the word of God, 01:11:27.480 |
meant a gathering of like genuine born again Christians. 01:11:49.480 |
and when they say infallible, it means the same thing. 01:11:58.480 |
began to be interjected with certain meanings 01:12:28.480 |
So we're specifically using the term inerrant meaning 01:12:50.480 |
that believes in the inerrancy of the word of God 01:15:23.480 |
because I was saved in a charismatic background, 01:15:59.480 |
and these people knew the Bible way better than I did, 01:16:27.480 |
because these are the people that led me to Christ. 01:16:37.480 |
But that was not what I was seeing in Scripture. 01:17:04.480 |
And so I had to test everything through Scripture. 01:17:07.480 |
And once I started testing everything through Scripture, 01:17:30.480 |
How many of you can defend the doctrine of Trinity? 01:17:45.480 |
You won't go to a church that doesn't believe in Trinity. 01:17:50.480 |
Is it based upon your careful study of the Bible? 01:18:02.480 |
because I know this is disturbing to a lot of you. 01:18:08.480 |
Loving the idea of being in love with the Bible 01:18:12.480 |
is not the same as being in love with the Bible. 01:18:16.480 |
Sometimes if you're in a Bible-teaching church, 01:18:19.480 |
you feel confident that because you're in a Bible-teaching church, 01:18:24.480 |
And that you test everything outside the church 01:18:37.480 |
and other people who seem to know the Bible taught it, 01:18:44.480 |
You have to test where did you get this from Scripture. 01:18:51.480 |
is because if even at the core of the identity of God, 01:18:58.480 |
Imagine how many other things that you say you're convicted about. 01:19:33.480 |
And if it was confidence based upon your surrounding, 01:19:42.480 |
you're going to end up questioning your own faith. 01:19:45.480 |
Thinking that, oh, maybe the Bible isn't this way. 01:19:51.480 |
In reality, it's because you never really were educated. 01:19:56.480 |
So, I know you're probably already disturbed. 01:20:01.480 |
If the Bible is going to be the final authority, 01:20:55.480 |
she graduated from a very liberal women's college, 01:21:03.480 |
and we happened to land on a particular subject 01:21:07.480 |
And we said we don't practice women leadership 01:21:18.480 |
And I remember having a conversation with her. 01:21:22.480 |
let's see if that's what you're saying is true. 01:21:40.480 |
And I'm going to give you time to go look at it. 01:21:47.480 |
and challenge me where I am twisting the Scripture. 01:22:38.480 |
"it means that I was twisting the scripture, right? 01:23:01.480 |
"Maybe something in the way that you've been trained, 01:23:22.480 |
And so I can tell you story after story after story. 01:23:55.480 |
So if your authority is going to come from the Bible, 01:25:12.480 |
"Oh," I said, "you'd be happy that I became it." 01:25:20.480 |
"that caused you to come to that conclusion?" 01:25:39.480 |
"But when I ask you where you got that from the Bible, 01:25:50.480 |
So if the Bible is going to be your authority, 01:26:14.480 |
"Oh, but all the people who take the Bible seriously 01:27:44.480 |
That's not a biblical or unbiblical question. 01:28:44.480 |
We're going to teach on the subject of Trinity 01:29:32.480 |
"Thus saith the Lord," you can't preach topical. 01:35:35.480 |
I'm convinced about this particular doctrine, 01:36:22.480 |
because you don't know what you're talking about. 01:36:24.480 |
So if you're going to be confident about something, 01:36:39.480 |
then you can compare with historical theology. 01:37:48.480 |
and the Bible teaches us that we're responsible, 01:40:03.480 |
it's like, "Oh, he's saying things I don't like." 01:40:13.480 |
But don't sit there and say, "I don't like it." 01:40:29.480 |
I'm going to go a little bit longer than normal today. 01:45:44.480 |
piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit 01:47:40.480 |
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, 01:47:42.480 |
so that you may prove what the will of God is, 01:47:44.480 |

and they for some reason share their testimony, 01:54:09.480 |

and give you all the arguments that they can give, 01:54:19.480 |
Until the Holy Spirit is ignited through you, 01:54:48.480 |
Not the guy who's been doing this for 30 years, 01:55:13.480 |
because so much of how things are being practiced, 01:55:30.480 |
"The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, 01:56:00.480 |
and all the adults who led you in the desert, 01:56:17.480 |
