If you guys are outside and you hear me, can you guys come in now? 00:07:31.440 |
Okay, before we get started, we've already talked about how this got started. 00:07:38.440 |
I mean, I think our sisters ministry, I forgot what the exact date is. 00:07:56.440 |
So I know some of you guys watched it, and I know our family watched it with the Lee family 00:08:03.440 |
And so how many of you guys have actually seen that documentary? 00:08:08.440 |
Okay, and so that documentary has been--has came out, and it wasn't just local. 00:08:16.440 |
People saw it, and God is really using this ministry to affect the pro-life ministry 00:08:23.440 |
And, you know, I don't have time to get into it. 00:08:27.440 |
You know, during the time that we had lunch, we were talking together, 00:08:30.440 |
and they were kind of sharing with us a little bit about the international ministry. 00:08:33.440 |
In fact, Pastor Lee is traveling all over the United States, 00:08:37.440 |
and they're getting rewards and awards for the ministry that they're doing. 00:08:41.440 |
But, again, as he is promoting, obviously, his ministry, there is a ministry to basically 00:08:48.440 |
for pro-life, anti-abortion ministry, and he's able to meet with dignitaries 00:08:53.440 |
and governors and, you know, attorney generals. 00:08:57.440 |
And, again, there's a lot of things that they're directly involved with that I had no idea. 00:09:02.440 |
Obviously, we know about the Baby Box ministry. 00:09:06.440 |
So hopefully we'll have some time to maybe, you know, poke around in that. 00:09:10.440 |
We've already received some questions, but I'm not sure how we're going to do this. 00:09:16.440 |
If you have questions, if you can text that to Pastor Mark or Pastor Nate, 00:09:34.440 |
So I'm going to have Pastor Mark get the text, and then he'll filter it out 00:09:41.440 |
and maybe send the ones that maybe we might ask later to text me. 00:09:46.440 |
And we already have some questions that we've already forwarded, 00:09:48.440 |
but maybe if there are some other questions that may come up through the presentation, 00:09:58.440 |
So if you haven't signed up for that and you haven't watched it, 00:10:00.440 |
and even if you did watch it, I think it's a great opportunity to fellowship together. 00:10:04.440 |
And, again, Pastor Lee and his associate pastor is here, 00:10:09.440 |
so it would be a great opportunity for us to get to know that a little bit better. 00:10:15.440 |
And it's just, you know, when we announced that, the Lee family, Esther and Lee, 00:10:19.440 |
you know, when they heard that we're going to be watching that movie, 00:10:21.440 |
they said, "Hey, Pastor Lee is going to actually come into town on this date." 00:10:24.440 |
You know, so last minute, it's like, "Oh, it would be great." 00:10:26.440 |
You know, it's like God's providence that they're able to be here and join us. 00:10:34.440 |
So, yeah, let's ask them questions so we can benefit from this. 00:10:36.440 |
And that's why we put this together kind of last minute. 00:10:41.440 |
So the schedule of this afternoon is going to be this way. 00:10:45.440 |
So I'm going to pray for us, and then afterwards, Pastor Lee, who is the interpreter, 00:10:50.440 |
he's the associate pastor of the church that Pastor Lee -- 00:10:59.440 |
Yeah, so two pastors, Pastor Lee 1, Pastor Lee 2. 00:11:02.440 |
So Pastor Lee 2 is going to come up, and he's going to present the ministry. 00:11:07.440 |
So I think before we do that, we're going to watch the video first, right? 00:11:13.440 |
We're going to watch a short presentation on the video. 00:11:16.440 |
And then after the video, Pastor Lee, number 2, is going to come up. 00:11:24.440 |
Okay, so Pastor Jimmy is going to come up, and he's going to be presenting the ministry, 00:11:30.440 |
obviously because he's the interpreter, so he's going to tell us in English what's going on in the ministry 00:11:36.440 |
and some of the background information and testimony and how it got started. 00:11:41.440 |
Then after that, Pastor Lee and Jimmy will come up. 00:11:44.440 |
Pastor Jimmy will come up, and then I'll ask them the question. 00:11:48.440 |
I'm going to be asking in English so that they can interpret and then present it to you, 00:11:57.440 |
Again, as the presentation goes on, if you happen to have a question, text Pastor Mark. 00:12:14.440 |
I know a lot of -- not everybody has a Facebook group. 00:12:31.440 |
So if you happen to have a question -- we're not going to be able to answer all those questions, 00:12:33.440 |
but if there's a pertinent question that comes in after the presentation, we'll try it. 00:12:45.440 |
Let me pray for us and then we'll begin with watching a movie. 00:12:53.440 |
Heavenly Father, we thank you so much for the privilege that we have to serve you, to gather together, 00:13:00.440 |
to worship you, and especially, Lord God, the ministry that you are doing with Pastor Lee 00:13:05.440 |
and the ministry, Lord, of compassion, of really honoring life as you love us. 00:13:13.440 |
I pray, Father God, that you would bring blessing upon blessing, Lord, that more and more people will know 00:13:18.440 |
not just the preciousness of these children, but how precious life is to you, 00:13:25.440 |
and that your glory, your gospel may spread through this channel. 00:13:29.440 |
I pray, Father God, that this afternoon as we interview and listen to the presentation, Lord God, 00:13:35.440 |
that this would not simply be tickling of the ear, just a tug of heart, 00:13:40.440 |
but that it really would cause us, Lord God, to serve you, to honor you, 00:13:45.440 |
to put into action the things that you convict us. 00:13:50.440 |
May this time be a blessing, challenge, and encouragement. 01:09:15.440 |
Korea is a kind of developed country already. 01:09:19.440 |
Then, yeah, right. Economically, Korea is one of the developed countries. 01:09:24.440 |
Then, if someone register the newborn baby in the family record, 01:09:35.440 |
there is no problem. In many cases, no problem. 01:09:39.440 |
The social welfare works, is working for them. 01:09:43.440 |
Then, there are some cases, some people who are located 01:09:52.440 |
in the shadow of our society. The authority and public part, 01:09:56.440 |
public government authority have no intention and have no interest 01:10:09.440 |
So, there are kind of a gap, kind of a shadow of the low system 01:10:26.440 |
It is related to the cultural background of Asian. 01:10:32.440 |
I think most of all, all of all can understand about that, 01:10:37.440 |
the value of a family, a bloodline and blood time. 01:10:43.440 |
That is the highest value. So, in Korea, the case of Korea, 01:10:49.440 |
we should register a newborn baby in the family record. 01:10:54.440 |
So, some single mothers, unwed, some single mothers 01:10:58.440 |
cannot make the registration. Some people, why cannot do that? 01:11:03.440 |
Then, they cannot do that because the matter of family. 01:11:08.440 |
So, some people cannot register. Then, there is the second, 01:11:13.440 |
is there any second option? No, there is no option. 01:11:17.440 |
If you cannot register on the family record, there is nothing to do. 01:11:23.440 |
That is the dead end path. So, baby is the only replacement. 01:11:34.440 |
You choose the abandonment of your baby. How can you do that? 01:11:39.440 |
So cute and adorable baby, then how can you do that? 01:11:46.440 |
Then, they cannot anything. They cannot choose nothing. 01:11:51.440 |
There is no option. They cannot choose anything. 01:12:01.440 |
Foreign laborers, illegal foreign laborers, and rape case, 01:12:06.440 |
sexual abuse, and extra marriage, those cases cannot make registration. 01:12:21.440 |
So, for that cases, Korea baby box works for. 01:12:26.440 |
And some people ask him, "Why do you do that? 01:12:37.440 |
How can I not kind of, yeah, I cannot but do this." 01:12:54.440 |
You know, Pastor Lee actually has never come to the United States. 01:12:57.440 |
This is the first time visiting the United States. 01:12:59.440 |
Yeah. So, considering his English is very good. 01:13:08.440 |
Try to speak a language that you've never even visited, 01:13:13.440 |
So, this next question is concerned with, you know, 01:13:15.440 |
I was talking to them in private and I learned something about the Korean law. 01:13:19.440 |
You know, the Korean law about abortion has been going back and forth. 01:13:22.440 |
And so, there's been a lot of politicians who's been pushing against abortion. 01:13:26.440 |
And so, two years ago, there was a legislation that passed where they made abortion illegal in Korea. 01:13:34.440 |
But the problem is, there's obviously, there's doctors and different organizations 01:13:41.440 |
So, there's a confusion in the Korean law where even though on the books it's illegal, 01:13:46.440 |
they said that there's no description in the law how to punish the people who practice abortion. 01:13:52.440 |
So, even though it's illegal, if you practice it, there's no way to punish them. 01:13:57.440 |
There's no law saying that here's the penalty, you're going to go to jail or nothing like that. 01:14:01.440 |
And so, they basically, in complaint, they sent it up to the legislation 01:14:05.440 |
and it's been sitting there for the last two years with no movement at all. 01:14:09.440 |
So, basically, it's kind of a political movement where they're appeasing the pro-life movement 01:14:13.440 |
by saying that we made it illegal and they're also appeasing the abortion movement 01:14:21.440 |
So, basically, in practical, legally, it's illegal. 01:14:24.440 |
But for practical reasons, it's legal because there's no punishment that comes with it. 01:14:28.440 |
So, people are pushing to try to get this legislation passed. 01:14:34.440 |
what kind of ministries and activities are there connected to the pro-life movement 01:14:39.440 |
in Korea and the United States and other countries? 01:17:18.440 |
He's saying the point is the perspective and the worldview. 01:17:28.440 |
Some people think about they have a right to choose to live or to die about the existence 01:17:39.440 |
or decision about the baby in the womb of the mother. 01:17:45.440 |
Then he said every single life is valuable because God loves us so much. 01:18:01.440 |
So, every single of us, every single person is so valuable, 01:18:11.440 |
So, we have a kind of possibility and value to live on earth equally. 01:18:22.440 |
So, he said, the point of his saying is the worldview is very important, 01:18:31.440 |
Under the grace of the Lord, we should grab on hard and firmly the value of life. 01:18:40.440 |
So, I will fight for against and fight for pro-life movement 01:18:47.440 |
and fight against despising the value of life. 01:18:52.440 |
The smallest of all living things on earth is the life of the mother. 01:19:03.440 |
the children with disabilities are just being abandoned. 01:19:09.440 |
In the U.S. and Korea, they are being abandoned. 01:19:16.440 |
God said, "I am the little one who was born with disabilities." 01:19:33.440 |
if we value our own life, we value the lives of others. 01:19:41.440 |
We can enjoy our own lives. This is challenging God. 01:19:57.440 |
So, he cannot do nothing to protect himself or herself. 01:20:19.440 |
Then, he said, "The disabled baby is very precious." 01:20:35.440 |
and everyone has great possibility to live on the earth. 01:20:40.440 |
So, I think the perspective and worldview is very important. 01:20:59.440 |
We humans can't do anything because we are lying in bed. 01:21:20.440 |
Through the son Eumman, the father became a pastor. 01:21:37.440 |
the Lord protected and protected the little ones 01:21:44.440 |
So, we should not boast of being good, smart, 01:21:59.440 |
and God will write the one who loves the Lord 01:22:53.440 |
because the weakness I saw the Lord in the weak people. 01:23:00.440 |
Even my biological son, I met the Lord in him. 01:23:17.440 |
So, don't judge others and don't judge the disabled 01:23:30.440 |
- Yeah, I mean, the fact that this whole ministry 01:23:42.440 |
And imagine, you know, I mean, now, obviously, 01:23:49.440 |
but it all came from decades of suffering in that home, 01:23:57.440 |
to use all of that to do what he's doing now. 01:24:16.440 |
but just being compassionate for these children 01:24:22.440 |
and he showed me a picture while we were having lunch. 01:24:26.440 |
He took a picture with the attorney general of Mississippi 01:24:30.440 |
and if you've been following what's going on over there, 01:24:40.440 |
and so he was there visiting the Mississippi attorney general 01:24:50.440 |
and he also mentioned that there's something going on, 01:24:53.440 |
and so again, this has given him an opportunity 01:25:08.440 |
that God chose to use as a platform to speak for this 01:25:15.440 |
Ultimately, the gospel is being spread as an avenue to do that, 01:25:23.440 |
something, one more that is a bit more personal. 01:25:27.440 |
And so the last question I'd like to ask is coming from 01:25:31.440 |
how would you encourage a parent who has a disabled child 01:25:35.440 |
and for years of struggling that you went through 01:27:09.440 |
- If you, among us, if you have disabled children, 01:27:31.440 |
Serve him or her and take care of him with all your heart. 01:28:03.440 |
and you can find out the power of grace of the Lord. 01:28:18.440 |
would you leave with us so that we can pray for you 01:35:47.440 |
Then the real record can be protected in family court, 01:36:00.440 |
So it is very good chance and very good option 01:36:15.440 |
- This rule has included the right to recognize 01:36:59.440 |
So this specialty included protecting the mother side 01:38:40.440 |
When I make a counseling in Bay Box with single mothers, 01:39:23.440 |
Preparing a kind of punishment relating to driving license 01:39:36.440 |
to the biological father of the babies in crisis. 01:39:41.440 |
So he insisted that that law could be tuned up 01:39:49.440 |
the property of physical relationship in Korea. 01:41:38.440 |
- Please pray for Babock's Pursuit of Death Ministry. 01:42:02.440 |
I believe that that ministry is very unique and very special 01:42:23.440 |
So Babock's Ministry would be needed in many countries, 01:42:38.440 |
Counseling and supporting and save the babies in crisis. 01:44:01.440 |
Then she got diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, 01:44:22.440 |
Pray for her health and beautiful life, blessed life. 01:44:35.440 |
the reason why I asked for two so that I wouldn't forget. 01:44:56.440 |
and it's so that they are able to give the birth anonymously, 01:45:00.440 |
because a lot of these babies are being aborted 01:45:02.440 |
because of the shame and the circumstances around it. 01:45:05.440 |
And so if they do that, and then they report it 01:45:08.440 |
in the family court instead of the government court, 01:45:18.440 |
The third one was so that the men who are involved in this, 01:45:27.440 |
So the second legislation that he's trying to get passed 01:45:31.440 |
So they would go after their driver's license, 01:45:35.440 |
and so that they would be engaged in raising this child 01:45:57.440 |
so that they would continue to be able to do that. 01:46:00.440 |
So he's partnering with officials in high places 01:46:13.440 |
and some of these countries are very wealthy countries 01:46:18.440 |
for children who are being born that's just being abandoned. 01:46:21.440 |
So they said that a lot of these missionaries 01:46:23.440 |
and pastors are walking around seeing abandoned fetuses 01:46:47.440 |
And she would have been here if it wasn't the case. 01:46:52.440 |
But she's a very crucial part of this ministry. 01:47:01.440 |
And again, a very important part of his ministry 01:47:07.440 |
Okay, so I am going to pray and we're going to end it. 01:50:45.240 |
Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord God, 01:50:49.240 |
to bring your precious servant, Pastor Lee, here with us, 01:51:00.240 |
that even in the midst of trials and hardship, Lord God, 01:51:15.240 |
that reflects in the sacrifices that he's made. 01:51:18.240 |
Lord, we pray, Lord God, that as you have established him 01:51:26.240 |
give him the support that he needs, Lord God, 01:51:28.240 |
give him the courage and the faith and the joy and the life 01:51:30.240 |
that he needs, Lord God, to continue this fight. 01:51:42.240 |
Lord, you know, Lord, how much she means to him. 01:51:50.240 |
We pray, Father, that your grace truly would be sufficient 01:51:53.240 |
with all the legislation that they are trying to pass, 01:51:57.240 |
with all the connections that they are making 01:52:01.240 |
I pray that you, who began a good work, Lord God, 01:52:04.240 |
in him and through him, would carry it onto completion 01:52:07.240 |
by the power of the Holy Spirit until you come. 01:52:13.240 |
For that end, we pray for Pastor Lee, for Pastor Jimmy, 01:52:17.240 |
for the people that they are traveling with, Lord God, 01:52:19.240 |
that your anointing would be clear upon them. 01:52:22.240 |
Every connection that they make, Lord, would cause greater fruit. 01:52:27.240 |
that there would be your grace and people would be inspired 01:52:31.240 |
to be challenged, Lord God, to move as he has moved, 01:52:37.240 |
And so we pray, Father God, that you would give him 01:52:39.240 |
the physical rest that he needs as he is recovering, 01:52:45.240 |
We ask, Lord, that you would give him good sleep, 01:52:48.240 |
help him, Lord God, to have the energy that he needs. 01:52:53.240 |
that your presence would go with him wherever he goes. 01:53:01.240 |
All right, let's thank Pastor Lee and Pastor Jimmy 01:53:13.240 |
All right, so with that, we'll conclude our session today.
