Be a pastor who understands

So many pastors just talk too much. Be a good listener, have compassion, use the word understanding and know how to relate to people. So we do a lot of hospitality. People are home, we get to know them and people will disagree. We listen, why do you disagree? Try to understand them.

Love covers a multitude of sins. So I see that you can get a lot of Bible education and get a big degree and all that, but you don't have to hear people and people don't like you. They're afraid of you or they think you know it all. So how do we as shepherds shepherd the sheep in a way that the sheep responds to us in a very positive way and they love us?
