There's a whole host of things in the Bible we could say about the kind of person we must be and the kind of person that bears the fruit God wants to bear. But Isaiah 66 2 is about as pointed and concise as it could be. To this one I will look.

And remember that comes on the heels of you can't build anything for me. Earth is my first stool. Where is the human being that's going to make an adequate place of worship for God of very God. And yet to this one I will look humble. A confessional life every day.

A contrite heart. And who trembles at his word. So I would hope even though my kids know my flaws and my grandchildren as I spend time with them they're seeing the flaws of their papa. I would hope that somewhere in there they saw me tremble at God's Word.
