People Can Always Relate To Your Problems

Transcript

I'll be going through something and feel like no one can relate to me or no one can relate to why I'm doing them or the pressures I face. So why even tell them? Because they're not going to relate. Their life is different than mine. You'll love this. At rehab, they said, you know, who in here, you know, thinks that nobody relates to your situation?

We were all like, oh. And then you start realizing they're setting you up. They're like, it's called the disease of terminal uniqueness. You think nobody has it as bad as you. Nobody's going to get you. No one understands you. And it's all not true. I don't care what you went through.

Somebody can relate. The fun question is, what if somebody can relate? That's so much better than what most people do when they live in cycles like I did, which is like, I don't really know who to turn to. Again, it came down to me learning how to lie to myself.
